Had a rough morning, but want to save the day?
I use this effective strategy from Gretchen Rubin:

Think of each day as a set of 4 quarters: morning, midday, afternoon, evening.

If you have one unproductive quarter, you get back on track for the next quarter.

1⃣ Morning (First quarter):

During this time, people tend to have the most energy and focus.

You can prioritize your most critical, important or mentally demanding tasks during this time.
_

2⃣ Midday (Second Quarter):

During this time, your energy levels might start to dip a bit.

It's a good time for tasks that require creativity or problem-solving.

You can also use this period for meetings or collaborative work.
_

3⃣ Afternoon (Third Quarter):

This is an excellent time for tasks that require less mental effort, such as responding to emails, making phone calls, or doing routine admin work.
_

4⃣ Evening (Fourth Quarter):

Use this period for relaxation, unwinding, spending time with family, or engaging in hobbies.

Avoid trying to tackle important work tasks during this time, as your productivity may be lower.
_

By dividing your day into these four quarters, you can match your tasks and activities to your natural energy levels and cognitive rhythms.

This approach can help you make the most of your day by optimizing your productivity and ensuring that you allocate your time effectively to various types of tasks.

So, try that and follow me for more tips to increase your productivity.
